Looking to be active but not sure where to start?
Join the free agent list!
Fayetteville Parks and Recreation keeps a current free agent list in all adult sports programs, and the list is sent to captains each week. To join the list, click on the programs you're interested in below, and the recreation program manager responsible for the program will add you to the free agent list!
There is no cost to sign up, but if a coach or team captain asks you to join a team, then the team may request that you pay a portion of the team registration fee. If asked to chip in to cover the registration fee, the free agent's portion should not be more than roughly $30-45 depending on the program. For more information, check out the program webpages below:

Girls Springs Youth Softball
Don't miss the fun and good competition this spring! Our program is the product of combined efforts from staff of Fayetteville Fastpitch Softball League and Fayetteville Parks and Recreation. The program will offer two leagues: competitive and recreational. Both programs will follow USSSA rules, and both programs will receive team equipment. Each player will receive a full uniform before games begin. Each team will play at least 10 games, and each team will play in a league tournament.
3/4U Rookie Season Program
Three and four-year-olds can get their first swing at the softball in the 3/4U program! Each 45-minute class is limited to 20 participants, and each class will be staffed with five coaches. Participants will focus on fun and softball fundamentals in each class, which is once per week for 10 weeks. Each participant will receive a t-shirt and ballcap. Parents are encouraged to participate if their player feels better with them on the field.
