Camp Wilson II (August 6-10, Ages 5-15)

Aug 6 - Aug 10

General Information

The goal of Be Active! Summer Camps each year is to provide healthy, fun, and educational activities for campers five through 15 years (all campers must have completed Kindergarten).  We strive to create an environment where your child has an enthralling experience fostering life-long participation in sports and recreational activities.  Regardless of experience in outdoor recreation or sports, each child is welcome and encouraged to participate in our summer camps.  Each participant receives a t-shirt on the first day of camp that he or she should wear often throughout the week.  Additionally, each child needs to bring sunscreen, bottled water (labeled with name), and wear weather-appropriate clothing and shoes to camp each day. All camp sessions are 9 a.m.-12 p.m.  Campers may be dropped off as early as 8:30 a.m. and picked up no later than 12:30 p.m.  Many sessions end with a Friday showcase event that parents are encouraged to attend!

Check out the program website for more information, www.fayetteville-ar.gov/camp!

2018 Fall Soccer Coaches

Aug 18 - Apr 27

WE NEED YOUR HELP! Volunteer to Coach or Sponsor your child’s team!

Each year, soccer in Fayetteville continues to grow at a rapid rate. To continue the quality development of our program we need enthusiastic coaches and sponsors. We had over 1400 kids and over 150 volunteer coaches in our 2018 spring program and will need at least that many this year. Please consider being a positive role model and coaching your child’s team...you will be making a huge impact! We also need team sponsors. As a sponsor, your name and logo will appear on the front of your team uniforms, and you will receive a sponsor appreciation plaque with a photo of your team. Simply include a sponsorship check for $250 (made out to FPR) along with this form and you will be contacted with more sponsorship information and instructions for sending your company logo.

Soccer 2018-2019 Registration

Aug 18 - Apr 27

Fayetteville Parks and Recreation offers a recreational soccer program for girls and boys ages two-and-half to nineteen. This program is part of Fayetteville Parks and Recreation’s Good Sports recreational programs where fun is emphasized. The season begins with four or five practices, followed by playing two games per week for leagues under 5 - under 19.

First Touch is an introductory soccer program for children whose birth dates fall between January 2015-December 2015. The program is taught by our staff of First Touch Instructors and consists of activities and drills designed to introduce the fundamentals of soccer. Sessions are twice a week.

Registration is currently available for the Fall Season only OR both the Fall and Spring Seasons. If you register for both seasons, there is a substantial discount. If you register for both and decide not to participate in the Spring Season, the fee is non refundable because a full year of insurance has already been paid in the fall. An additional $10.00 late fee will be applied if registering after June 24th.

All players registering with Fayetteville Parks and Recreation are randomly assigned to a team based on age.

Volunteer coaches are screened and trained by Fayetteville Parks and Recreation.
Players who sign up for both the Fall and Spring seasons will remain on the same team for both seasons.

All games and practices will be played at Kessler Mountain Regional Park located at 2600 W. Judge Cummings Rd.
